Bike North Incorporated: Pedaling Towards Community and Advocacy

Bike North Incorporated stands as a non-profit, community-based Bicycle User Group (BUG) affiliated with Bicycle NSW and AusCycling. Our reach spans nine local government areas, including Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Ku-ring-gai, Willoughby, Lane Cove, North Sydney, The Hills, Ryde, and parts of Parramatta.

Governed by our Constitution, updated in November 2022, our primary objectives are twofold:i. To provide members and others with safe and enjoyable cycling experiencesii. To advocate for improved cycling conditions

As an Incorporated Association (INC9879281) registered with the NSW Department of Fair Trading since February 2003, Bike North is a collective of ordinary people with a shared love for bicycles. Living or working locally, we understand the nuances of our communities and the cycling issues within them. Our members encompass all levels of fitness and experience, riding various bicycles for transport, recreation, exercise, or sheer enjoyment. Bike North is for everyone, and we invite you to join us.

What do we do?

• Run regular social rides for friendship, exercise, and enjoyment.
• Collaborate with Councils to implement bicycle plans for improved routes and facilities.
• Advocate for cycling-related concerns with relevant authorities.
• Facilitate discussions on all things related to cycling, fostering an open sharing of experiences.
