Welcome to the 'Old Spokes' Cycling Club, a vibrant community nestled in southeast Calgary, Alberta, dedicated to urban recreational cycling. Explore the city and its neighboring communities as we navigate the extensive and picturesque pathway system, winding through North America's most beautiful landscapes and bike-friendly streets.

Our club, designed for cyclists aged 55 and above (with spouses aged 50+ welcome), fosters an environment of fitness and community. To participate in our exciting club events, membership in both the 'Old Spokes' Cycling Club and the FLC Seniors Club, our parent organization, is required. When you join our rides, you're not just cycling; you're among friends, enjoying camaraderie while relishing the outdoors and fresh air.

Choose your adventure with our three ride levels: Easy (Level 1), Moderate (Level 2), and Intermediate (Level 3). Our rides cater to varying abilities, spanning distances from under 20 km to over 40 or 50 km. The speed is tailored to the capabilities of each group, with hills ranging from none to a few. We prioritize inclusivity, ensuring no one is left behind. Feel free to join with pedal-assist E-bikes, and enjoy regular breaks and regrouping sessions.
