Welcome to North Coast Velo Cycling Club, the recreational haven for cycling enthusiasts in the North Coastal areas of San Diego County. Our mission is rooted in promoting safety, fitness, and community through our shared passion for cycling.

We offer a variety of experiences, including weekly rides and special training sessions for cyclists seeking to enhance their skills. Safety is our top priority, and we request participants to arrive 15 minutes early to complete necessary waivers and wear ANSI-SNELL approved bicycle helmets. Our group ride policy currently includes traditional road bikes and class 1 ebikes, excluding tri-bikes.

Join us every Saturday for exhilarating rides starting promptly at 9:00 AM, rolling out from Mance Buchanon Park in Oceanside, situated right off College Blvd. As proud members of the League of American Bicyclists, we actively promote cycling as not only a recreational activity but also a viable means of transportation.

Our vision extends beyond the pedals – we aim to build a community of cyclists who cherish camaraderie, lasting friendships, and a culture defined by caring, sharing, and fun. We encourage riders of all levels to ride safely, build confidence, and achieve feats they might not have deemed possible.

As leaders in the cycling community, we contribute to the development of better cyclists through educational initiatives. Furthermore, we strive to create a better world by giving back to good causes through volunteering, fundraising, and organizing club-sponsored events.

At North Coast Velo, we uphold a Code of Conduct to ensure safe and predictable rides. From following traffic laws to yielding to pedestrians, we prioritize a culture of responsible cycling. Our members wear helmets with proper fit and adjustment, and we adhere to local laws during our rides.
