Founded in 1990 by passionate riders, Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club (GCMTB) has evolved into a thriving community. With rapid growth and access to premier trails in South East Queensland, we boast a rich history in XC, DH, and gravity enduro racing. Presently, our focus is on All Mountain and XC, hosting regular Gravity Enduro and XC events in Nerang National Park.

Throughout the years, GCMTB has collaborated with QPWS, Gold Coast City Council, SEQ Water, and trail care groups at Nerang National Park, Mt Tamborine, and Hinze Dam. These partnerships have shaped the robust trail networks we enjoy today.

The alliance with NTCA (Nerang Trail Care Alliance) has revitalized the Nerang Trail Network, resulting in a diverse trail system. Recognized by EMS, MTBA, Commonwealth Games, Pan Pac Masters Games, Sunshine Series, and GCMTB, the Nerang Trail Network is a preferred choice for mountain biking events.

Our calendar is brimming with events, from Social Rides to Skill Development Sessions and EWS Qualifiers, offering something for every rider in our vibrant community.
