Founded with a mission to preserve, develop, and administer amateur bicycle racing at the masters-age level under the auspices of the United States Cycling Federation, the San Diego Cyclo-Vets stand as a venerable institution in the cycling community.

For a quarter-century, the Cyclo-Vets have been based in San Diego, California, attracting over 300 members from across the United States. Our membership is a tapestry of diverse life experiences, educational backgrounds, and financial means. Among our esteemed ranks are doctors, lawyers, engineers, educators, law enforcement professionals, military officers, and active retirees. This rich diversity contributes to the unique character of our club.

Notably, the Cyclo-Vets proudly hold the title of the nation's Best Masters Club, clinching the United States Cycling Federation's prestigious "Team Challenge Trophy" every year since its inception. Our success is underscored by the impressive accomplishments of our members, which include over 100 National and International Champions, 20+ National USCF record holders, Olympians, Senior Olympics Champions, and participants and winners of the grueling Race Across America (RAAM).
