Since 1970, Cascade Bicycle Club has been a trailblazer in Washington's cycling scene. From founding the Burke-Gilman Trail to iconic rides like Chilly Hilly and Seattle to Portland (STP), we've been at the forefront of biking milestones. Evolving into the nation's largest statewide bicycling nonprofit, our commitment extends beyond rides.

With nearly 10,000 members, 700 volunteers, and a dedicated staff, we lead in event production, bike education, and advocacy. Our achievements include hosting the Emerald City Bike Ride and setting a Guinness World Record for the largest e-bike ride.

Merging with Washington Bikes in 2016, we became the country's largest statewide bicycle nonprofit, emphasizing equity through our Racial Equity Plan. Amid the pandemic, we innovated with the Virtual STP and launched the Pedaling Relief Project, delivering over a million pounds of goods by bike.
