Bristol Cycling Development Squad
Welcome to the Bristol Cycling Development Squad, dedicated to nurturing young cyclists aged 5-16 in the Bristol area. Our primary goal is to introduce and support children in becoming better cyclists, catering to all skill levels and disciplines.
Currently, our emphasis is on introducing 5-12-year-olds to the cycling world through regular coaching sessions aligned with British Cycling’s GoRide initiative. These sessions, focused on enhancing bike handling skills, occur in safe, traffic-free environments. We have access to four locations in Bristol, offering diverse opportunities for skill development.
Our coaching sessions take place on Sunday mornings, scheduled fortnightly. For specific details about each session, please refer to the calendar section on our website. Join us as we pedal towards a future where cycling is not just a sport but a lifelong passion and skill.
