About this club

Founded in March 1977, the Adelaide Masters Cycling Club traces its origins to the Veterans and Ladies Cycling Club (VLCC). Initiated by a group of 14 professional road and track bike riders, including Ron Backshall, Doug Holly, Ray Brock, and others, the club has been a focal point for cycling enthusiasts for over four decades. Originally conceived to provide a platform for road and track cycling, the club's rich history is woven with the contributions of dedicated riders who laid the foundation for its enduring legacy.
