Women Bike Chicago
Women Bike Chicago (WBC) emerged in 2012 when four frustrated cyclists noticed the lack of female representation in the city's cycling community. Inspired to empower women in the cycling scene, our founders initiated workshops addressing safety, comfort, route planning, and more. Partnering with the League of American Bicyclists for their WomenBike campaign, we hosted talks and established the annual Day of Dialogue and Demonstration. As our community grew, we expanded activities, welcoming cyclists of all levels. Our ongoing mission is to bridge the cycling gender gap, reaching commuters, moms, racers, and enthusiasts across Chicago. Join us in pedaling towards a more inclusive and vibrant cycling community!
Our club is always looking for new members. We’d love to have you join or answer any questions that you have about the club, our membership, or our activities.
