Welcome to TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club, a unique recreational cycling club with a mission to break barriers for individuals who are partially sighted, blind, and deaf-blind. Our vision centers around promoting social and physical health for all, acting as a catalyst for inclusive physical activities. Our primary focus is on creating recreational opportunities for those with limited or no vision, achieved by providing the chance to cycle with sighted volunteers on our specially designed tandems. Our Board of Directors and organization membership predominantly includes blind and vision-impaired individuals, ensuring an empathetic understanding of our community's needs.

Engage in impromptu rides organized by members and volunteers, scheduled group rides, orientations, and exciting out-of-town weekend trips. Embrace the camaraderie during social events like Bar-B-Qs and banquets, and contribute to charitable causes through rides like the Ride for Rouge and the Becel Ride for Heart. Since our inception in the summer of 1986, we've been pedaling together, becoming a Registered Charity in 2002 with charity registration number #86786 4753 RR0001.

Safety is paramount in our club. New members and volunteers undergo orientation sessions, and our well-maintained tandems come equipped with tool kits for minor repairs. For more extensive adjustments, we rely on qualified mechanics.
