Staten Island Bicycling Association

Welcome to the Staten Island Bicycling Association (SIBA), a social bicycling club that embraces riders of all levels. Our group rides kick off at the Miller Field parking lot, located at the entrance of New Dorp Ln. and Cedar Grove Ave.
Group Rides:Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM, we embark on group rides tailored to various riding abilities. If you're a first-timer, we'll assist you in finding the right group. Periodically, we offer Casual Rides for novices, focusing on safe group riding, bike pre-ride safety checks, and basic maintenance. Casual Ride schedules can be found on our website calendar. Note: Non-members, aged 18 and above, must sign a liability waiver before riding.
Sunday Rides:For our advanced riders (members), Sunday Rides start at different off-island locations, featuring Ride Leaders, GPS-guided routes, and Queue Sheets. These details are available on our website calendar.
Other Rides:While we don't have club-sponsored mountain bike rides, our members organize their own mountain biking excursions. Additionally, members gather for regional event rides.
Social Events:SIBA goes beyond rides with social events like the Annual Dinner, summer BBQ, wine tastings, beer nights, pizza gatherings, and occasional breakfast or lunch get-togethers.
Fitness and Skills:Whether you want to enhance fitness, improve group riding skills, or simply enjoy company on your rides, SIBA is the place to be. Join us for a cycling experience that extends beyond the road, creating lasting connections and a shared love for biking!

Our club is always looking for new members. We’d love to have you join or answer any questions that you have about the club, our membership, or our activities.
