Spider Monkey
Spidermonkey Cycling, rooted in the aftermath of a shuttered Chicago bike shop, was founded by Dean, Nate, Matt, and Vanessa. Seeking a close-knit community where riders wouldn't get lost in the pack, the club values both completion and competition.
Spidermonkeys actively participate in charity rides, Chicago criteriums, road races, triathlons, and various bike-related events. The club accommodates members with varying levels of racing interest, fostering a diverse and inclusive atmosphere.
The club's name, inspired by a memorable moment during a ride, reflects their playful and spirited approach to cycling. Spidermonkey Cycling is not just a club; it's a community where more people on more bikes create memorable experiences. Look out for their distinctive bright orange kits at events and feel free to connect if you're curious to learn more or join the Spidermonkey family.
Our club is always looking for new members. We’d love to have you join or answer any questions that you have about the club, our membership, or our activities.
