Welcome to the Norwood Cycling Club, a cycling institution with a storied history as the oldest cycling club in the Southern Hemisphere and the largest in South Australia. Established in 1883 by penny farthing enthusiasts, the club's legacy spans over a century. In 1918, it became incorporated, broadening its activities to include competitive cycling, cricket, and football. Through war and beyond, the club flourished, producing numerous national and international cycling champions.

Our roster proudly includes former and current Australian and International champions such as Jack Bobridge, Luke Roberts, Tim Roe, Alexis Rhodes, Tiffany Cromwell, Patrick Jonker, Michael & Chris Turtur, Nino & David Solari, Wayne McCarney, Pat Marcucci, Charlie Walsh, and Jay & Corey Sweet. The club's reach extends to a growing junior, female, and masters membership, including UCI World Track Gold medallist Dave Gomer.

In 2009, four Norwood Cycling Club members represented Australia at the World Championships in Mendrisio, Switzerland, showcasing our commitment to excellence. Affiliated with Cycling SA and the UCI, we are currently the largest cycling club in South Australia, boasting a vibrant community of over 380 members.
