North Ranch Mountain Bikers (NRMB) stands as the premier and longest-standing mountain bike riding group for adults in the Los Angeles area. Every Wednesday night and on weekends, year-round, we embark on thrilling rides across a myriad of trails. Our primary playground is the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreational Area (SMMNRA), spanning Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, but our adventures extend to the San Gabriel, Santa Barbara, Frazier Park, and San Bernardino Mountain areas. We even organize occasional trips to renowned destinations like Mammoth, Kernville, Lake Tahoe, Big Bear, Sedona, Moab, and more.

At NRMB, we foster a recreational and non-competitive atmosphere on all our rides. Catering to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced, we encourage participants to choose rides that align with their skill and athletic abilities. Safety, responsibility, and courtesy are paramount on our trails. Helmets are mandatory, and riders are expected to bring their own water, snacks, and a tool kit for minor mechanical issues. We strongly recommend operational walkie-talkies (FRS radios tuned to channel 5:25) for enhanced communication. Adhering to trail rules ensures the safety and enjoyment of all trail users.
